I’m Andrew McLachlan. I run Forgyn Holdings Ltd. out of North Vancouver, and I’m actively looking to buy my first platform business in the health and wellness space.
I spent 20 years in sales and marketing — understanding what keeps customers coming back and what makes operations actually run. That background shapes how I think about acquiring a business. It’s never just the numbers on a page.
In 2017, I was diagnosed with cancer. I made the decision not to go the conventional route. I researched. I pushed back. I found practitioners who treated me as a whole person, not a set of symptoms. And it worked — I came out the other side healthier than I went in.
That experience stayed with me. When I decided on my niche, there was really only one answer. I want to acquire a business that does what those practitioners did for me — that helps people feel better the natural way. That’s not a strategy. That’s personal.
